14 year old Chinese diver 'Quan Hongchan' won the gold medal at the Summer Olympics: Tokyo 2020.

Quan Hongchan whose parents are farmers, is the third child born on the 28th of March 2007.

At the age of seven in 2014, her diving training started and joined the Guangdong provincial team four years later.


Quan won three championship event at age 11, followed by five more wins at the Guangdong Diving Championship at the age of 12. Her wins continue, she won the the National Diving Championship in the 10-metre platform event to eventually won the gold medal at the Summer Tokyo Olympics as the youngest athlete delegated by china with overall score of 466.20, at the individual 10-metre platform.
